Searching for a Contribution

You can access the Contribution Search page to search for and view a contribution and the Contributor's information.

Tasks

To access the Contribution Update page:

 

  1. Click the contributions tab.

 

The Contribution Administration page is displayed.

 

  1. Perform the following:

Find a contribution...

In the Contribution History - 10 most recent Contributions section, click the find button.

 

The Contribution Find page is displayed.

 

To search for a contribution:

 

  1. Enter search criteria into one or more fields.

 

  1. Click the find contribution button.

 

If...

Then...

One or more records match the search criteria...

The search results are displayed in the Search Results data grid. Tip icon If the search results exceed the page's display limit, you can click a page number at the bottom of the grid to view additional results.

To change the number of records that display per page, select a value from the page size drop-down.

Then...

Update a contribution...

  1. In the Search Results data grid click the Update link.

 

The Contribution Update page is displayed.

 

  1. Perform the steps for Adding/Updating a Contribution.

Delete a contribution...

  1. In the Search Results data grid click the Delete link.

 

The Contribution Delete page is displayed.

 

  1. Are you sure you want to continue with this update will display. Click yes button to continue or No button to return to the previous page.

Cancel the search...

Click the cancel button.

 

No records match the specified search criteria...

The system displays an error message.

 

Click the clear button to clear the search criteria and perform another search.
